Once i want to spend my vacations in a good lonely place so i went to Bergen aan Zee. It is a town on the North Sea coast in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Bergen, and lies about 9 km west of Alkmaar. This town houses good hotel in Bergen where you can enjoy your stay. While it has some old homes and farms, most of the town is young in comparison. It is a good city to enjoy your vacation in the city weekend Bergen . Bergen aan Zee has grown into a beach resort town, popular for surfing and sailing. Hotel 1900 is a good hôtel Bergen in the town. It is a 3 star hotel with the luxurious rooms. All the rooms are cosy and comfortable. Where can you find sand, sea and dunes bordered by beautiful old woodlands, all together in one place is Bergen aan zee. Here i spent my peaceful vacation in a city Bergen Hotels . The municipality of Bergen has a lot to offer the present-day tourist. Present-day holidaymakers desire variation and Bergen can offer that: the former fishing village of Egmond, with its pleasant beach, outdoor cafes and small shops; the ‘arty’ village of Bergen with an abundance of art and culture and a beautiful beach and the village of Schoorl is perfect for those seeking a more peaceful beach and splendid woodlands and dunes.

Shopping in Bergen aan zee

March 12, 2010

In this city you’ll find plenty of options to shop. There are number of good shops in the city where you can enjoy shopping. Some of the main shopping market was nearby my weekendje op hotel in Parijs area. Most shops are open from Tuesday to Friday between 9 am and 6 pm, on Saturdays between 9 am and 5 pm. On Monday, many shops are closed in the mornings and open between 11 am and 1 pm and close at 6 pm. You can go to the main city center for shopping. Golden Tulip Hotel Jan Van Scorel is situated near the most beautiful dune-strip of the Netherlands. It is a 4 star weekendje op hotel in Antwerpen in the city. It is also very close to the dunes of Schoorl.

Noordwijk, Scheveningen and Dutch Coast

Thereafter from Bergen aan zee i planned to enjoy some more days of my vacation in Noordwijk. It is a village and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. I enjoyed my stay in the city dormir à Noordwijk . Besides its beaches, Noordwijk is also known for its bulb flower fields. It is located in an area called the “Dune and Bulb Region”. Here i stayed in the hotels in Noordwijk which was near to the beaches in the city. The white sand beaches and water are very clean. Late night i enjoyed in my fin de semana Noordwijk gallery, that cool breeze and that water shores voice simply awesome. Nothing much required for a peaceful trip. Take in the sights on the beach watching kite boarders or admiring the many sailboats, or take a walk on the boardwalk and enjoy “droll” ice cream, a local favorite flavor. A wind sheild might be a requirement if you plan on sitting on the beach for awhile, all the locals bring their own, not just to block the wind, but the blowing sand and an added bit of privacy.

Then my trip started to Dutch coast. The Netherlands is a coastal nation, with the entire western side of the country boardering the sea. I enjoyed promenade along the beach and my hotel Costa holanda Promocion is also near the beaches. Dutch beaches are characterized by massive sand dunes and broad sandy beaches which, in the right conditions, can be a delight. Here i stayed in one of the best Côte hollandaise hôtels in the city. Many people love to go for a walk along the beach, even on a cold and windy day. Of course one could also go walking in the summer, but when the sun is out sunbathing is of course a more popular way of spending the day at the sea. On a hot summer’s day the beaches are usually crowded. Besides the Dutch, also a lot of our German neighbours try to get a tan at the Dutch coast. After a day in the sun, you may notice a general movement from the beach to the terraces and restaurants along the boulevard; the best place to finish your ‘day-at-the-beach’ and go back to your Nederlandse Kust hotel and relax for the next day to enjoy some more attractions in the city.

After Dutch Coast i moved to Scheveningen. This place is a hip and busy resort town with a sea front that features a long boulevard with numerous open-air cafes, bars, and restaurants serving decent food and drinks. There are very stupendous hotel Scheveningen in the city where you can enjoy your stay. Visitors are often unable to pronounce the name ‘Scheveningen’, which is why the Dutch used it as a secret password in the war. My Hotel specials Scheveningen was near the beach. There is an annual sand sculpture competition; if you miss it, head instead for Madurodam, a replica of the entire country in miniature. From my citytrip Scheveningen room beach view was totally eclectic. This beach view was really heart toching and can make your day awesome. Beyond long walks on the beach, there is also a sea museum and a two floor pier. Scheveningen is accessible via train from Amsterdam.
